Ay no papi

Hey there. I figure it’s been a while since I actually wrote about my life, but since I have a quiz, a test, and a project due tomorrow, this will be short. And in list form. And right off the top of my head.

- Sunday night my check engine light came on. Monday I got my oil changed, my tires rotated, and my air filter replaced- $75. This morning I had my radiator replaced because of a crack that was leaking coolant- $535. Lame. I had plans for that money (isn’t that how it always goes?).
- I forgot my Aggie Ring in Austin today. I almost cried when I realized.
- I got reamed in Graphic Design (class) for doing something on my project THAT SHE TOLD US IN CLASS WE COULD DO. Hence why I have a project due tomorrow- I have to completely do it over. Once again, I almost cried because she called me out in front of the ENTIRE class (even though I wasn’t the only person who did it) and basically embarrassed the poo outta me.
- I have a quiz in History tomorrow that I haven’t read for.
- I have a test in Graphic Design that I haven’t studied for.
- I might have a quiz in Spanish. But I don’t think so.
- I’m failing Spanish even though I’m trying really hard.
- I’m making good progress on my website for ENGL489.
- I have a History test on Monday (with a paper due that day that I haven’t started) that I haven’t studied for.
- I went to the doctor today and I got an ultrasound on my thyroid (my neck) and it showed two small masses. I have another ultrasound in six months to see if they’re growing. If they are, you know what that means. Biopsy time. And I can’t say the other word.

So life’s a little lame right now, but I’ll get through it. Somehow I always do. Now it’s time for me to head to the SCC to fix my InDesign document so the good folks at CopyCorner can print the sucker out for me. And all I REALLY wanna do is go to sleep.

I have had masses on my thyroid for many years (apparently it is worse to have only one). I get an ultrasound every year and have had one biopsy. I would say this has been about 11 or 12 years … try not to worry too much!

Hi Grace! Random question. Who are you? :) I’m curious to know how you found me! I never get any readers. :)

And yes, I choose not to worry about it. It’ll be fine, I’m sure. Thanks for the reassurance.
